This estimate treats one straight fence run with an optional gate opening removed from its length. Each bay consists of a panel and the adjacent post contribution, with an additional end post. Rounding gives enough nominal bays; it does not guarantee the final panel needs no trimming. Gate posts and separate runs require a separate post plan.
